ISSUES IN SOCIAL JUSTICE
Newspapers and news programs provide countless examples of injustice  in the world.  Often the task of creating a more peaceful and just world seems daunting and impossible.   Nevertheless, the Christian faith calls us to recognize injustice and to do our part to change it.   Through his own life, Christ offers us an example of how we should respond to the world's suffering and find hope in the midst of so much pain.

- To understand the important current issues surrounding this vision
- To explore ways that we as individuals and as a community can make this vision a reality
- To grow in compassion and empathy for those who suffer
